In Remembrance: Hugh E. Quetton ’45W Died on January 18 2014

Hugh Edward Quetton died January 18, 2014, in Victoria, British Columbia. Hugh left Yale in November 1943 to join the British army. He served in Europe and India until released to rejoin Yale in September 1947. After graduation in 1949 (Class of ’45W), he went to Montreal, Quebec, where he joined BP Canada and served as a commissioner of the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal. On retirement, Hugh moved to Victoria, British Columbia. Besides his wife of 52 years, Frances, he leaves three children and six grandchildren.
