In Remembrance: William Clay Ford ’48 Died on March 9 2014

William Clay Ford, the last surviving grandchild of automobile pioneer Henry Ford, died March 9, 2014, at his home in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He was 88. He had long been the Ford company's largest shareholder, although he never did run the business, serving instead as vice chairman and leading board committees.  He was also a longtime owner of the Detroit Lions football team.
