In Remembrance: Joel Kenneth Brody ’44, ’49LLB Died on November 19 2014

Joel Kenneth Brody passed away November 19, 2014. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Yale College, and served in the World War II.

He is the author of The Avoidable War: Lord Cecil & the Policy of Principle 1933-1935, Pierre Laval & the Politics of Reality 1935 - 1936, and The Trial of Pierre Laval.

His other works include Yale, A Celebration, Arlington Club: Where Leaders Meet, and Really Us, A Paris Year, a privately published memoir. His latest work The Crucible of a Generation: America Goes to War, 1941 is scheduled for publication in 2015.

His obituary was published in The Oregonian from November 20 to 23, 2014.
