In Remembrance: Michael DeSola ’74 Died on January 23 2013

Michael J. DeSola of Yonkers, New York, died on January 23, 2013, at the age of 68. He had been the founder and longtime chairman of DeSola Group, a management consultancy.

An obituary appeared in the Journal News on January 25, 2013.

    Mike was one of the Ave S boys.....1960's

    He joined the USMC with me ..1965...
    He graduated from there with me... he..Made private first class..

    I knew his parents meeting them a few times at their home..

    Early 60's ....We had a rather big fight at Mitchels with 15 or so combatants.

    I ended up in hospital with broken nose and orbital bones..
    Mike fought many combatants that day and was well prepared as a pugilist learning the skills from his father and walked away with minor cuts and bruises..

    He had your back 100% of the time , no matter what !

    Florence was also a friend....boy he loved her, fell head over heels.

    Lost contact with him , just found out he died at 68 years old..January 28, 2013..

    ooraah gyrene thinking of you and the great times we had and grew up in...

    only i knew you were afraid of snakes......terrified i should say.

    i hated heights
