At the time of his passing, he was working as Chief of the Neurology Service at the DC VA Medical Center, as Professor of Neurology at Georgetown University, and as Clinical Professor of Neurology at George Washington University School of Medicine. He published two books and more than 150 articles, and his research focused on areas such as Parkinsons Disease and other movement disorders.
