An attorney with the Jones Day firm, he was instrumental in the creation of the National Railroad Passenger Corporation, which became Amtrak. Later he was an adviser in the US State Department and was involved in the Camp David Accords and several international treaties. A full obituary appeared in the New York Times on May 26, 2015. |
