In Remembrance: Richard Dickinson Otis '49MD Died on August 15 2015

Richard Dickinson Otis, M.D., passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at his home in Waquoit, MA. Originally from Meriden, CT, he enrolled at Trinity College in 1943 as a part of the U.S. Navy V12 training program. Dr. Otis earned his doctorate from the Yale School of Medicine in 1949 and went on to complete a residency in Pathology in 1956. Known for his mentorship in the position of Chief of Anatomic Pathology at Hartford Hospital, Dr. Otis rose to become a highly respected expert in the field of cytopathology.
