In Remembrance: Athos Simotas '54 Died on September 1 2015

Athos Simotas, MD, died at his home in Alpine, New Jersey, on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Having emigrated from Greece to the United States at the age of thirteen, Dr. Simotas earned a full scholarship to Yale College. He then went on to receive his MD degree from New York Medical College in 1958. A proponent of equal rights and community involvement, Dr. Simotas was known for his compassion and dedication to his patients.
