In Remembrance: Renville H. McMann ’50E Died on August 31 2015

Renville Hupfel McMann of New Canaan, Connecticut, died on Monday, August 31, 2015. Born in New York City, he attended Choate Rosemary Hall before going on to earn his bachelors of engineering from Yale in 1950. He joined CBC Laboraties in 1955 and eventually came to hold 36 patents for devices such as the Electronic Video Recorder and the Electronic Image Enhancer. Mr. McMann also received three Emmy Awards for Engineering Development from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
