Obituaries

In Remembrance: Marie D. Powell Reed ’87MDiv Died on September 30 2015

Rev. Marie Delores Powell Reed passed away on September 30, 2015, after a nine-year battle with Alzheimer's.  She taught high school German and English for eleven years, and then, after graduating from Yale Divinity School, she embarked on her ministry, serving churches in Connecticut and North Carolina before retiring in 2001. 

The Reading (Pennsylvania) Eagle ran her obituary on October 3, 2015.
