In Remembrance: George Richard Blumenschein ’59 Died on August 30 2016

George Richard Blumenschein, an oncologist, died on August 30, 2016, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was 79. A pioneer in oncology, he was renowned for developing the modern approach to treating breast cancer.

A full obituary was published in the Dallas Morning News on September 25, 2016.
