In Remembrance: Peter Hans Skala ’47, ’49MA Died on April 13 2017

Peter Hans Skala passed away on April 13, 2017, in London, England.  He was 92. He served as an interrogation officer during World War II and then followed a career in international marketing and executive search. He was a longtime member of the Yale Graduate School Development Committee.

    We miss him dearly. He was a best friend and mentor. He loved his association with Yale. His life goes on in his children and grandchildren. He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery later this year. Love you Dad.

    Peter Skala was an incredible man. He was my uncle and a life inspiration. Never stop learning, appreciating, investigating... the example he set for all in his life will remain in our hearts and minds as long as we live. Thank you Uncle Peter!
