In Remembrance: Thomas P. Wharton Jr. ’67 Died on April 13 2017

Thomas P. Wharton Jr. MD passed away on April 13, 2017, in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire.  He was a physician at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, New Hampshire, and pioneered several new and innovative tools and procedures for the treatment of cardiac patients.

The Boston Globe carried a full obituary on July 28, 2017.

    I knew Dr. Wharton when I worked in the Cardiac Cath Lab, as a CV tech at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston. He was very helpful, familiarising me with procedures and the importance of patient safety. A real gentleman.
