Born and raised in New York City, he attended NYU before earning his BFA from Yale. He served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955, and worked for the architectural design firm of I. M. Pei & Associates before founding his own graphic design firm in 1966. A full obituary appeared in the New York Times on April 10, 2013. |
