Obituaries

In Remembrance: Bryant Bannister ’48 Died on July 15 2016

Bryant “Bear” Bannister passed away peacefully on July 15, 2016. He was professor emeritus of dendrochronology and archeology, as well as director emeritus of the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research, at the University of Arizona. The laboratory building, built in 2012, was named after Bannister.

The University of Arizona posted a tribute on their website.
