Goose was the POPO for our Whiff Group; he had a great bass voice and was an anchor for all of us in many ways.
He was always upbeat and just a joy to be around. Very handsome, a great lady's as well as a man's man!
We missed him very much at our last two class reunions; he did have some serious medical issues.
Singing with him in the Whiffenpoofs of 1953 was a highlight of my senior year at Yale.
    May he Rest in Peace.
    John Staige Davis, IV, '53
