In Remembrance: Iverson Graham ’52BD Died on April 17 2013

Dr. Iverson Graham Jr. passed away April 17, 2013, in Florence, South Carolina. He was 89. He had been a marriage and family therapist and Methodist minister.

An obituary was published in the Florence Morning News on April 18, 2013.

    Many years ago when our family traveled to Canada, we stopped in New Haven
    for Daddy to reminisce, because " Some of the best years of my life were spent
    at Yale." He was a bit misty-eyed as we toured the beautiful campus, and as he ascended the steps of a familiar building, he softly remarked, "Just like old times...."

    Decades later, I asked him if he had ever heard of the (Yale) author of a book on The Dead Sea Scrolls, and he beamed as he said "Yes. Millard Burroughs was one of my favorite professors! Brilliant and well-versed."

    Daddy was a superb human being, a marvelous family man, a noted scholar in his own field, and a true-blue "Yalie"!
