In Remembrance: Firuz Kazamzadeh Died on May 17 2018

Firuz Kazemzadeh passed away on May 17, 2018. Kazemzadeh, Professor Emeritus of History at Yale, was also the author of several books, and a guest lecturer at Stanford University, UCLA, and Lewis and Clark College. In addition to his accomplishments as an academic, Kazemzadeh helped galvanize governmental support of American Baha’i community after the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran after being appointed to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom by President Clinton. Kazemzadeh is survived by his wife and three daughters.
