In Remembrance: John Anthony Nevin ’54 Died on September 23 2018

John Anthony “Tony” Nevin passed away on September 23, 2018. Nevin was passionate about sailing which he enjoyed at Martha's Vineyard with his wife. After completing his graduate studies at Columbia University, Tony held faculty positions at Swarthmore College, Columbia University, and the University of New Hampshire. In his research, he developed the concept of behavioral momentum, which resulted in his receiving a five-year research grant from the National Institute for Child Health and Human Development in 2011. Nevin is survived by his children, two stepsons, four grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren.
