In Remembrance: Richard Payne ’73 Died on January 3 2019

Dr. Richard Payne passed away on January 3rd, 2019 at his home in Durham, North Carolina. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Yale University, Payne went on to attend Harvard Medical School. As a licensed physician, Payne went on to join the faculty at Duke University with a dual appointment in the Medical and Divinity Schools. In his spare time, Payne enjoyed photography, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
