In Remembrance: Harris L. Wofford ’54LLB Died on January 21 2019

Harris L. Wofford, former US senator from Pennsylvania, died on January 21, 2019, from complications in a fall he had suffered a few days before. He was 92. His illustrious career included being a lawyer and author; a professor, and president of two colleges; special assistant to President John F. Kennedy and adviser to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.; and Pennsylvania's secretary of labor and industry and the state's Democratic Party chairman.
