In Remembrance: Alfred C. Phillips ’52 Died on April 14 2019

Alfred Carlton Phillips, of Wayland, Massachusetts, passed away on Palm Sunday, April 14, 2019, after a courageous battle against Alzheimer’s. 

Born in Bronxville, New York, to Alfred Henry and Marion McQuiggan, and brother to John Phillips (predeceased) and Barbara (Scarsdale, New York), Paul Phillips and Rosemary (Tarrytown, New York), and Robert Phillips and Adriana (Greenwich, Connecticut), he was a devoted husband for 62 years to Sarah Jordan and cherished father to Alfred Jordan and Christine (Acton, Massachusetts), Peter Carlton and Christa (West Newbury, Massachusetts), Stephen Henry and Carole (Manchester, Vermont), and Diana Bradley and husband Jan (Concord, Massachusetts). Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Timothy, Matthew, Hannah, Aidan, Luke, Benjamin, and Colin.

A wake will be held at Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St., Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on April 25, 2019.  The funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on April 26, 2019, at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 9 Glen Road, Wellesley.
