In Remembrance: Lester Ezra Bradford ’49, ’50, ’51MF Died on March 3 2019

Lester Ezra Bradford passed away on March 3, 2019. At Yale, while studying natural sciences and forestry, Bradford met his wife Winifred “Winnie” Ruth Smith, who was studying Chinese. In 1968, they moved to Louisiana with their five children where Bradford worked for the Louisiana State University extension service. In his free time, he enjoyed volunteer work which took him many places around the world: Zimbabwe, Bolivia, Brazil, Ukraine, Indonesia, and Haiti, to name a few.
