In Remembrance: John C. Carson ’50 Died on April 17 2019

John C. Carson MD passed away at home in La Jolla, California, on April 17, 2019. He was 92 years old. He served in the Army after high school and following Yale and medical school at UPenn, he established a cardiology practice at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, where he remained for half a century. 

A full obituary ran in the San Diego Union Tribune on April 23, 2019.

    My Father, James Hewson was a close classmate of Dr Carson and I met him quite a few times with my parents while they visited California. I hope they are somewhere together having a grand ol time! xo
