In Remembrance: Fred Kaplan ’60PhD Died on May 2 2013

Fred Kaplan, age 78, passed away on May 2, 2013 at home. He served 40 years in the department of chemistry at the University of Cincinnati. 

A full obituary was published in the Cincinnati Enquirer on May 7, 2013.

    My brother's enthusiasm for his chosen profession of chemistry was an inspiration to me. I pursued a doctorate in psychology. Like my brother, Fred, I taught and did research. Fred was both brilliant and humble. He cared about his family and his students.
