After graduating from the Yale School of Medicine, Vosskuhler moved to Flagstaff, AZ, where he practiced radiology for the next 40 years. In his free time, Vosskuhler enjoyed playing the violin, and enjoying the outdoors with his family. The Salt Lake Tribune ran a more extensive obituary on Vosskuhler on April 17, 2019.
