ObituariesIn Remembrance: Wayne M. Halonen ’65Mus Died on February 19 2013Wayne "Matt" Halonen of Michigan passed away on February 19, 2013. He was a lifelong musician, especially distinguished in organ playing. After a rewarding experience in the Peace Corps, he taught in Philadelphia, New York and in multiple cities in California. He performed all over the world; in Germany, England, Scotland, Turkey, Russia and other countries. Halonen earned his Masters in Music from Yale in 1965. A full obituary was broadcasted on the Evening News in Sault Sainte Marie, MI on May 1, 2013.
