Obituaries

In Remembrance: Leonard Klein ’67 ’70BD Died on December 4 2019

Leonard Klein passed away on December 4, 2019. After graduating from Yale College, Klein stayed in New Haven to attend the Yale Divinity School where he earned his BS. Later in life, Klein served as a pastor for various Lutheran congregations while also giving lectures at schools across the country. Klein also served as the Director of the Office for Pro-Life Activities for several years.

    Clarifying the facts, my husband by 50 years, Leonard Klein, a Lutheran pastor for 30 years, was received into the Roman Catholic Church by permission of the Vatican and died as Rector of the Cathedral of St. Peter and pastor of St. Mary's/St. Patrick's churches in the Diocese of Wilmington. He was Chaplain to the St. Thomas More Society for the legal profession and Director of the of the Office for Pro-Life activities.
