In Remembrance: Seymour M. Fink ’52, ’53MusM Died on March 25 2020

Seymour Melvin Fink died of pneumonia on March 25, 2020. He was retired from the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he was senior piano professor in the Department of Music.

    Seymore Fink was a man of high academia. He taught with the utmost patience and kindness. He was a master of technique and with an ear to go right along with it. It was a pleasure and a wonderful experience to be able to train under him and perform in his home. He is one of the greats, and will be greatly missed.

    I studied under Prof. Fink as an undergraduate. He was a wonderful teacher, and taught me how to be performing musician. I hope that he has a legacy that will be remembered.
