In Remembrance: Robert M. B. Polk II ’65, ’70Dra Died on June 2 2020

Robert Malcom Bruce Polk II died peacefully in New York on June 2, 2020. Bob was a raconteur and a man of many interests and eclectic knowledge.  His classmates can take pride in his accomplishments as a man of extreme compassion, and with a genuine and sincere belief in helping all whom he might be able to assist in their lives;  One might say, to a fault.  I can also add that Bob never had a bad day in his life, and he died a happy man, in spite of his health issues and humble circumstances.  He never married, and is survived by his two sisters, Mimi and Eileen.  His ashes have been lovingly scattered under a magnificent Cherry Tree overlooking the Willamette River in Oregon, by his sister, Eileen.
