Professor Schultheiss taught my freshman year calculus class. He by chance was also my section leader. He personally tutored me from a C on my first test to an A on the final exam. This was back when Yale let students with high school AP calculus enroll in "beginner's" calculus. <> He was a quiet man, patient and kind even to a lowly freshman. I hope his family reads my words here. Peter Schultheiss was proof of Yale's tradition of great professors who are also great teachers.
