ObituariesIn Remembrance: Elmer Wieboldt ’44 Died on February 24 2013Elmer Wieboldt, of Virginia, passed away on February 24, 2013, at the age of 92. After serving as an Army pilot in WWII, Wieboldt bred champion Aberdeen Angus cattle in North Garden, Virginia. He was also active in building the Cove Garden Ruritan Club and looked for ways to enrich the Covesville/North Garden community, including establishing a volunteer fire department and donating land for local baseball fields. A full obituary was published in the Daily Progress on February 27, 2013. |
