In Remembrance: Austin K. Wolf ’48 Died on November 4 2024

Austin K. Wolf (Branford College) died on November 4, 2024, at his apartment in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Austin attended Yale after serving in the US Marines from 1941 to 1945. He was a devoted fan of Yale and especially Yale football and attended nearly every game—home and away—for many, many years. He last attended the Yale-Harvard game in November 2019, sitting, as always, in Portal 15 at the Yale Bowl.

Austin was the founding partner of Cohen and Wolf, PC in Bridgeport, which was established in 1951 after he graduated from Harvard Law School. 

Dad is survived by his two daughters, Judy Wolf and Nancy L. Wolf (Smith 1974), his son-in-law, Jim Pavle (Yale ’74), his brother, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
