They deserve a medal

The Alumni Association's highest award goes to five honorees.

The Yale Alumni Association will award its highest honor, the Yale Medal, to five people later this year at an online YAA Assembly. The recipients are Bruce Alexander ’65, former vice president of the university; Rahul Prasad ’87PhD, former chair of the YAA and the Graduate School Alumni Association; Judith Ann Schiff, chief research archivist at the Yale Library and longtime Old Yale columnist for this magazine; Kurt Schmoke ’71, the university’s first African American senior trustee; and Alice Young ’71, cofounder of the Asian American Students Alliance.
