Men's hockey is NCAA bound

As trips to Atlantic City go, the Yale men's hockey team has seen better. The Bulldogs went scoreless in two games at the ECAC tournament this weekend, dropping a semifinal game with Union 5–0 and a third-place game with Quinnipiac 3–0. The losses put Yale's chances of going to the NCAA Tournament, but fortune smiled on the team: a win by Notre Dame today kept them on the right side of the bubble when the 16 teams were announced for the tournament tonight.

Yale will face No. 1 Minnesota in the West Regional in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Friday at 2 p.m. This is the fourth time in five years the Bulldogs have gone to the NCAA Tournament.
