Besides offering a view of the Librarian’s Courtyard, the recently restored windows of Sterling Memorial Library’s north aisle feature images from illuminated manuscripts in Yale’s collection. These—featuring David and Goliath (left) and the shepherds of the Nativity story—are from a French breviary. ______________________________________________ The Yale Alumni Magazine is published by Yale Alumni Publications Inc., an alumni-based nonprofit that is not run by Yale University.
