When Yale bought what is now called the West Campus from Bayer in 2007, it acquired 20 buildings with 1.6 million square feet of lab, office, and warehouse space. It also got a river: the four-mile-long Oyster River, which flows into Long Island Sound, bisects the site. Nature trails along the stream are a good place to clear one’s head during the workday.
