Grace Hopper College held an open house yesterday to introduce 12 new stained glass panels in its common room an dining hall. The new windows replace scenes of plantation life and of the life of the college’s former namesake, John C. Calhoun. Shown here are six common-room windows by artist Faith Ringgold, including an image of Grace Hopper and scenes of student life. In the dining hall are windows by artist Barbara Earl Thomas.
