We'd like to say that the new buildings of the Upper Science Hill Complex are going up, but so far they're mostly going down. Excavation work has produced a big hole where a parking lot used to be on Whitney Avenue. A 320,000-square-foot Physical Sciences and Engineering Building will be the centerpiece of the project.
